Baton Rouge Rehabilitation Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited inpatient physical rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive neurology-based inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. BRRH is designed with patient care and family support in mind. Our 86,000-square-foot freestanding hospital has easy parking and a quiet setting with ponds in front for patients and families to enjoy. Offering the latest rehabilitative technology, we serve patients throughout Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. The specialty trained, dedicated staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care for all our patients' needs, whether they are physical, social or emotional.
Baton Rouge Rehabilitation Hospital specializes in both neurological and orthopedic - based treatments and services. We take pride in serving our community and offer the attention, resources and support needed to achieve the most complete recovery possible. Whether served in our inpatient or outpatient departments, we will develop an individualized treatment plan based on the needs and goals identified by the patient, their family and our rehabilitation team. Then we will use that plan as a guide, working together to achieve the greatest outcome potential.
While Baton Rouge Rehabilitation Hospital treats several conditions, many of our patients come to us after suffering a stroke, in which rehabilitation can be half the battle. Studies indicate that 60 percent of stroke survivors can benefit from aggressive rehabilitation intervention. Eighty percent of those treated through rehabilitation services return to their homes, work, school or active retirement. Our specialized stroke team works directly with patients and their families to set therapy goals and work towards a full recovery.
